Episode 3: リーンボックスの週末<ガールズナイト>help how do I do ruby text

Intro: 5pb's concert

This part really showcases this show's animation quality. Whenever the main cast is on screen, there isn't any animation - most of the girls are just static images being scrolled across the screen, with Nep, Compa, and Best Girl being the only exceptions because they have dialogue. The next time we cut back to them, they don't even scroll anymore, it's just static images. Basically the entire show is like this. The animation on 5pb herself is pretty decent, and the cgi on the planes is fine, so they clearly can animate if they feel like it, they're just lazy (this is accurate to the source material, now that I think about it). Also the cgi'd crowd looks really bad, but what did you expect lol.

Warechu is also there making puns or whatever.

Opening

This is the most tastefully done 4th wall break in the entire franchise. It's an allusion to the medium of the show, and a reference to events that only the audience actually experiences, without any of the characters in-universe explicitly acknowledging it as such, or at all. If the entire series has been like this, instead of stale memes and ready player one with hot anime women, it might've actually been good. (i mean instead of the ready player one part, the hot anime women can stay that's fine)

Opening is p good tbh.

Green Heart's secret

Vert plays MMOs with a controller. Normally I would make fun of this, but unfortunately, the caster DPS in my raid group also does that. He's not on console or anything, so it's not like he can't use kb+m, he just doesn't. Absolute psycopath behavior.

Leanbox's new technology

I bet you were expecting me to make fun of the kinect, right? Well, here's the thing, I actually had one growing up, and you know what? How this episode portrays it is pretty much how it felt. I spent like a month grinding out the platinums in the raft game, and every time I had friends over we would play table tennis on it the entire time. Fuck the haters, the kinect was this fun. (ok, the hoverboard sonic game wasn't very good, I never got it to actually pick up my movements correctly)

the plot relevant part

IF has a gun holy shit.

Ending

You're welcome, Trick.
